After two days of wading in the murky waters of Poker Stars new limit Deuce to Seven Triple Donk games (haven't tried the NL version yet,) allow me to assure you, friends, that fishing season has officially started and the fish are biting hard.
I strongly suggest you memorize the top ten 2-7 TD hands...
#1 - 7 5 4 3 2
#2 - 7 6 4 3 2
#3 - 7 6 5 3 2
#4 - 7 6 5 4 2
#5 - 8 5 4 3 2
#6 - 8 6 4 3 2
#7 - 8 6 5 3 2
#8 - 8 6 5 4 2
#9 - 8 6 5 4 3
#10 - 8 7 4 3 2
...and then do a little nut peddlin'.
I can almost guarantee that in the first orbit you will see someone a) play an Ace like it's low, or b) call or even raise all the way to the river with a straight or a flush.
Here's the strategy. It's complex, but I know you folks can handle it:
Only play starting hands with draws of two cards or less.
If you get 2345x to start, MUCK THE FIVE and draw two!
Only play draws of fewer cards then there are remaining draws (i.e., fold if you don't improve).
You may call ONE bet and take one card on the last draw if you are drawing to a top four hand.
Jam the effing pot when you are pat.
Rinse, repeat.
Of course, if you want to you can certainly get fancier than that, but why bother?
